Golfers banned from this thread

Keep them trimmed. Why have they turned this into national news???

(I'm a golfer and a pilot.)

Wonder how long it'll be before someone fixes the problem, Texas style.
 
I don't get it either. Who asked them to uproot the trees? Trim the dang things and be done with it. Sheesh. Why does the gov't have to make things so complicated?

According to a golf-course-building guy I know, these numbers they are throwing around are massively inflated; he thinks its just a money-grab.
 
Need an ag pilot to accidentally dispense some Roundup while on approach?
 
I don't understand why this is an issue. All they have to do is get rid of the golf course. Simple. No more golf course, no more problems.

Let's hire a stuntman to fly an ultralight into one of their trees, make a $15M claim - the city councillors would be out there the next day with their home garden tools hacking at the trunks!!
