I HATE it when I have to use these modern gas cans...

Oh, I know how to work them, but they are very, very slow. The old cans were definitely faster. If you can figure out how to hot start an IO-360, you can figure out a modern gas can.
Jeez, that article is full of stupidity.
Ive been rocking the 5 gallon "utility" cans with reasonable success. They just moved the "fuel" descriptor into the product name.

Anyone with a modicum of common sense and a couple of hand tools can modify those handles in a few minutes. I do the modifications within minutes after getting the cans home.
I add my own vents to new cans. I have 10 or 12. You can buy vents and replacement spouts affordable on eBay.

yup...same here. I end up removing the cap and pouring straight out.I spill far more with the new cans that I ever did with the old ones. And I still have a couple of the old ones around.
Counterproductive.

When I had the Stearman I used high test car gas, no ethanol, Two WW2 jerry cans , the ones with steel type hoses, well constructed and easy to use. Stand in the front seat and pour it in. I don't know what I'd use today. Even the one I use for my mower is a piece of s$&@t.
No, your wrong again. Gas cans suck because that's what congress deals with instead of important issues like infastructure, Medicare fraud, etc. ( or shooting their mouth off over Benghazi after ten " investigations" that turned up nada, zero, nothing. Etc. Etc.
don't stop there....I'd thank them for the ethanol too. Thanks to liberals gas cans suck.

I personally would love to have a can that I could fill a small tank with and get no spills. I would be willing to pay a fair amount of money to get it. If it exists, I'm just not aware. Anybody know of a can that actually fills with no spills?
I'm not sure how I'm supposed to have fun with that. That thing will spill gas all over the place. I didn't say I just wanted an expensive gas can. I said I wanted a gas can that I could refuel small tanks and not spill and I'm willing to pay for it. Sorry, this is not the solution I'm looking for.
