Bro do you even lift
anyone aware of any specials for garmin pilot (on android) right now? 3 days left on my trial. thanks!
Just make a new user id! For some reason I wouldn't feel bad doing that to garmin.
If you bought all the paper for a year it would be around $2,200 the last time I checked. The app is a good deal.
Can I run a trial version of the Garmin on my IPhone while Foreflight is also still loaded and licensed?
yeah, I think what I was looking for was something like "hey, you've been a paying customer for long enough, here's a free 3 month trial of the VFR add on or IFR add on". something like that. but, this thread is also 3 years old and I don't think I've seen anything like that.

If you don't need all the bells and whistles try "FLTPLN GO" app. It's great and does A LOT for free!! And you can sync with online. Best of all their customer support is AMAZING!! I also like Garmin Pilot but they really need to get up to date with their app for Android. Not fair their 8.0 version only offered for Ios (Apple).
How do they do that? Is there advertising on it?If you don't need all the bells and whistles try "FLTPLN GO" app. It's great and does A LOT for free!! And you can sync with online. Nope. Since I'm a bit of an EFB collector (about a dozen divided roughly evenly between iOS and Android), if Garmin offered a CFI discount I would probably add it to my collection. But it looks like discounts are not part of Garmin's marketing plan.Any new reports on this topic?!
Best Pilot discount is probably grabbing discounted iTunes cards and paying that way (can you do that or do they make it difficult like ForeFlight does?).
Long as you get low enough to read the signsHighways and water towers are free navigation.
I did this with iTunes gift cards from Costco and it worked like a charm. I think it was 15% off or so.
