I'm using Garmin Pilot on an Samsung Android tablet. Does anyone know why I'm getting these gray boxes that are omitting a portion of the sectional display?

I've relaunched the app several times and rebooted the device to no avail.

Thanks.

It's not just Garmin Pilot, Aviator Assistant and FltPlan Go both do as well. If you go to Skyvector you can see those blanks are where there are insets or gaps between charts.

I get the same boxes on the iOS version of GarminPilot.

-Jacksonville and Caribbean 1 VFR sectionals do not meet (illustrated by red arrow below).
Miami sectional does not extend west to cover gap.
Garmin Pilot (and co) display a gray box (or equivalent) for gaps (areas) which are not included in FAA VFR sectionals.
... and SkyVector displays only ARTCC/FIR boundaries, for gaps.

-For GP 'insets', after download these are displayed on MAP by zooming in on relevant airport (and selecting appropriate top layer).
(however, it appears each sectional limited to one inset)
For example, KJAX 'inset' available for download/display in GP; but Tampa inset isn't.
Instead of 'Tampa inset', download/display 'Tampa TAC'.
