Garmin 430 not showing waypoints or nearest airports

Our Garmin 430 is not showing any airports on the nearest page and when you try to go direct to, it says that waypoint doesn’t exist. I’m inputting a nearby public use airport.

The unit has GPS signal and the card has been updated.

Did this problem start after you updated the card?

I agree, that's the first thing I'd suspect. When you start it up, does it show current NavData?

Hopefully the alarmists didn't get all the nearby airports shutdown due to poisoning the children.

I would try to update the card then check the 430 to see if the data transferred

That's a fair question. I am not sure as multiple people use the aircraft and update the cards. I'll ask around. Thanks!
