I think it would be good for everyone to just step away from the electronics for a week or so. Mental health will probably improve.

It's bipolar. I'm seeing some people on my Facebook feed whose social media interaction is the only thing keeping them going.

Us, we're enjoying the time at home, together, working on stuff. And yeah, still doing the day job of course.

I'm with ya. Millions of people on lockdown with keyboards in front of them means they are gonna have a lot of time on their hands to wreck the signal to noise ratio.

So, read a book. Build a model. Fix the house. Exercise. Lots of options.

I have my 93 year old MIL living with us. I am ever so happy I have a 3 level house and she has to use a walker which means she can’t navigate stairs. The lower level of the house has become my friend and sanctuary. Weather has just been horrible the last week which has really curtailed getting outside and getting some spring chores started or completed. Today as yesterday, we had snow, rain, more snow, hail and then the wind. Hopefully the weather will improve next week. As for screen time, I am imposing strict limits on the amount of time I spend on - line (except for my students) or watching TV, especially the “news” which is rather depressing overall.
