Sadly, I think the only bathroom with space on the wall is the lower level bathroom, but that will work out if/when I move my office down there. That would serve the backyard deck entrance and the home theater, too, and there'll be BEER in the fridge down there!

I looked for one of those for a remodel but back then the supply pipe had to be an full inch or better. I'll have to look again. Wife wants a bidet.

Was that with the Sloan valve? The residential ones don't have that now. Some like the one pictured above even have the automatic electric flush.

You want low flow? Try RV toilets by adding sensible levels of water to the bowl depending on what's needed at the time. It takes over two weeks to fill the 25 gallon holding tank...and that's when I'm wasting water like a fire hose. It's more sanitary too with the floor fill/dump lever. You don't have to put your hands on flush handles.

We have those at the office, but a different brand. Unfortunately, they smell like stale pee all the time, which seems like a big price to pay 24/7/365. You would think that someone could develop a urinal that used a quart of water instead of today's standard (1 gallon?) urinal.

I remember being at a Buffett concert at Merriweather Post where the line for the ladies room was so long that many of them were using said devices (as well as the sinks) in the mens room. The men simply used the fence ("OK, guys, there's a fence over there"). The security folks that tried to stop them learned the lesson that it is better to be ****ed off than ****ed on.

In my research I saw a lot of feedback that wives will and do object...and you need the toilet anyway. It was pointed out that the toity can get more grosser.

I guess I'll confine mine to the man cave floor.

I just remembered that I had Mens and Ladies rooms in the storefront office I rented and later moved in to. I just warned ladies going to it that one was the Mens. Amazingly it seemed to worked fine for both.

Remember that most of us are such good female-deterrents on our own that the addition of a bathroom fixture won't make matters any worse.

For the record, I wouldn't add one to my house. The toilets in there work just fine.
