Line Up and Wait
I'd bet if a fifth grader were reading the script he/she would have caught that one...
Couldn't they ask just one pilot to check the script?

When Jim was flying the climbers in, I noticed they blurred out the wing mounted camera. Wonder why?
What I'd like to know is where the camera man who shot the two little indian girls in the cabin, slept that night? there were only 2 bunks.
That would be a shi- bomb, for those who are not nautical types that is when you are stupid enough to flush when the snips are blowing tanks.

Is it just me but that main guy in the 180 takes some stupid and dangerious risks all for a few dollars
First ep I saw he mentioned that he needed X amount of feet but didn't have it but proceeded anyway.... clear case of poor decision making and is a bad example to set on a show watched by newbie pilots
I don't understand why everyone is picking the show apart for every little detail. It's reality TV , not a National Geographic documentary. Take it for its face value of entertainment.
If I sat there during every gun fight scene in a movie and picked apart how many rounds they fired without reloading, or every military flick and picked apart improper uniforms , rank placement and everything that was not within reg , I sure wouldn't enjoy too much of it.
I just can't see getting bent over a television show. It's entertainment.
You must be relatively new around here... people here don't need 'reasons' to get bent - we just need a topic.

At least they haven't had an airplane go out of control when the engine quits - only to be saved at the last instant by the pilot putting their forearms behind the yoke and pulling with all their strength.
Yet.

Well if your name is Crow T. Robot or Tom Servo I bet you'd be picking apart those films, and have a great time doing it, to!
Ah, Mystery Science Theater - I miss those guys!
They're on Netflix. I got sucked into finding out about that about six months ago late one night when I couldn't sleep... Heh heh.

They didn't do too many aviation movies; here's one compilation of MST3K "favorite moments" from their viewing of "The Starfighters":
OMG that was funny. Thank you for that. Especially the "watch out for that leading edge it is sharp" part. Ha.
Heh heh... just another day in Wyoming...

A friend had his IR check ride scheduled for today -- he wisely cancelled.
NO slips with flaps!
Okay... This "Flying Wild Alaska" is getting a little too much for me. I now know that all the W&B calculations I've been doing over the years is a waste of time. All I have to do is load the airplane until the tail drops to the ground. Then Take stuff off unil the nose wheel touches again. Did anybody else see this, I think it was the Friday before last episode.

I saw that. Who knew the CG was directly over the main wheels?
