flying car arrives! ...got a mil burning a hole in your pocket?

A toy. Not a good car not a good plane. I like the Pal-V concept better, seems easier to protect critical flight surfaces from road damage...

It's obviously a gimmick. The average guy will never have a flying car. But one day there may be electric drone-like hovering vehicles for inner-city travel. But they will be piloted by AI not a human.

But does it have a parachute? Sorry had to be said.

For a million bucks, I'd rather have a nice car and drive to my nice hanger that my nice plane is in...rather than have a not a very good car, and in my opinion questionable airplane.

What gets me is that all of these pipe dreams are marketed as a car that you can fly. It's really a poor plane that you can drive along the road.
That means, you need a pilots certificate!

And once you drive it on a road, you'd be insane to fly it.

Can u take it in 1500 nm xc?

Sure! On the I90.

Brings up an interesting question. If you had a student flying one for their solo x-country, how would you know that they really flew to their destination?

How does mileage/time driving affect 100 hour inspections?

I assume you could drive it even if it didn't have a current annual, but could you fly it if it didn't pass the last emissions testing?

Oh boy. Another "pre order" thing. We promise we will get them produced and if we don't we promise we will give you your money back.
