Florida airport offers incentives for pilots to buy UL94 fuel

Currently, tenants pay $5.13 per gallon (the same as traditional avgas) compared to the full cost of $9.89, he noted.

I guess I just ASSumed that UL94 would be cheaper than 100LL.
I can buy 93UL (non-ethanol) for less than $5/gallon at a local station.

Publicly owned airport, someone is paying for that subsidy.

Last time I got ul 94 it was 8.50 a gallon. And 100 ll was just over 6 a gallon.

Hmm, smoketownairport.com currently has 100LL at $5.95, UL94 at $6.46.

Why would I pay $5 more a gallon ?

GAMI just be cactus raping us again.

"the airport authority is committed to taking steps to reduce its environmental impact, including replacing golf carts, aircraft tugs, ground power units, and pickup trucks with zero-emissions electric equipment and vehicles, airport officials said. Several solar projects and an updated stormwater master drainage plan are also in the works, they added."

I though Florida was supposed to be where "Woke goes to die".
