I would have if I had noticed the notice.or you could just read that it says "omit the leading K"

Let me know the edit you tried. I'm guessing it was the Google maps link. There's an issue I haven't yet resolved regarding abbreviated phone generated links.
I did a bad job describing what I saw. I went into an existing restaurant at SIK to amend the information. When I hit “update “ I received this error:
Whitelabel Error Page
This application has no explicit mapping for /error, so you are seeing this as a fallback.

There was an unexpected error (type=Internal Server Error, status=500).
@eman1200 , you're nothing if not consistent! I'm happy to create a moderators interface if people want to sign up to patrol content. Until then, we all can delete inappropriate content. I really don't think anyone will delete your hookers and blow pictures so have at it!...which I don't like that people can edit other people's posts...
@Initial Fix , @eman1200 , are you guys talking about Lambert's Cafe @SIK? Is it open or closed? Someone saved it in FlightsForBites.com as closed, but, google maps would indicate it's open. I can see there being a possible logic error if you try to update a restaurant which is closed, or was once noted as closed, other than to mark it as now open, like what happened with BQ1.

Gotcha. There's definitely a bug. The restaurant was marked closed which I fixed. I was able to add and delete a new comment. I was not able to edit an existing comment. Very strange. I need time to research.Lamberts at SIK is very much open. I was trying to add some more info for anyone flying in.
Hopefully I addressed your issue. Users can now edit all existing comments. That said, if you're trying to add information, feel free to add an additional comment to a restaurant. Editing an existing comment should be a rare thing. I only implemented it to **** off @eman1200 .Lamberts at SIK is very much open. I was trying to add some more info for anyone flying in.
The only admin is me and I'm lazyI would really suggest that only Admins be able to edit comments other than their own...

The idea of not editing existing comments is probably the way to go. Comment volume is pretty low, so, them piling up, in the short term, shouldn't be a problem.
Where in Maryland are you? I grew up on the Potomac/Bethesda/Rockville area.
Excellent. I'm not familiar with Colesville. I briefly dated a girl from Laurel but it didn't work out as she was too far awayThe only reason I would edit would be for serious issues.
I did high school at Springbrook. Was a cadet with BCC Squadron CAP. My dad still lives in Coleville area. I am in Harford County.
Starting a specific thread to limit confusion. I finally have my General Aviation Accessible Restaurants website running on a Raspberry Pi. Feel free to share the link.
Thanks. I thought I searched the entire thread but must have missed that. It's now located at https://flightsforbites.com/
DonePerhaps @Mahneuvers can go back and edit the first post with the updated link?
Nope. The good guys can always remove the bad guys stuff. I backup the data so if something goes down I have a fallback. I'm not familiar with how bots work, but, given how users must navigate, I don't think it's easy for bots to traverse.I added a comment to CLL. Are you proof reading these? I’m worried a bot or some wierdo may post some trash up.

Thanks for the offer. I'm not really feeling the need to change anything at the moment. I'll let you know if that changes. Also if you had to host, I would donate a few bucks.
1-2X/month I see an error in the logs which I cannot explain. Please let me know what you searched for and what device and browser you used.Love the idea. Gave me error on search . awesome idea.
I can see how this would be helpful as the number of restaurants in the DB grows. I'll add it to the feature list. Until then, since miles is displayed on results, users can just ignore restaurants closer than they want....enhancement... Make the distance choice a min and max...
...although for a brief moment I thought it would be cool for the guy who recently put up the weather site and I to get together. Enter a course once, and you get the weather and nearby restaurants.
Thanks EdFred. I've got way too much going on right now to start on something like this. I will ping when that changes.I got the PHP code written for weather, I can pass it along.
FlightsForBites.com turns one year old Monday. 455 restaurants and 285 comments in that time. The site is used roughly six times/day. Keep spreading the word!
.....restaurant I entered is now closed.
So after you went in the place they closed it? Sometimes ...
We'll send @crash7 with his electric chainsawyes, that is exactly what happened. HELP, I'm stuck in a closed restaurant and I can't get out!
Happy anniversary! Do you have any cool graphs to share, e.g. #per month, # per state, submissions per IP address, etc?FlightsForBites.com turns one year old Monday. 455 restaurants and 285 comments in that time. The site is used roughly six times/day. Keep spreading the word!
I'm self hosting so I don't have much. The app writes to a log file when users find, search and edit restaurants and comments. That's how I know the approximate daily usage. I checked my domain provider and my bare bones account apparently does not come with any reporting.Happy anniversary!
