When you own airplane your perspective changes quite a bit. I don't eat in mine ever, and discourage it for my passengers. There are no liquids allow that are more opaque than distilled water. My interior has sufficient stains as it is. Changing out interior components is either time consuming or expensive.
Costco trail mix. Just don't drop the peanuts.
Sounds like there may be a very interesting story behind that......
Throw a handful up on the glare shield and let the sun warm them up. When the little bags are all puffy, it's to eat. Works great on car dashboards as well.

Ditto. However, I have been known to stock Belvita just in case of emergency. I'd imagine hardtack would be good for that too.I don't eat in the airplane.
(sorry, I had to go there)
Just respond,Beef jerky of course. Peanut butter crackers are good, but eating one generally activates a call from ATC
Just respond,
"Center, 200RC. Sorry for the delay in responding, I had to visit the galley in the back of the aircraft, and stopped to flirt with the FA on the way back."
