Worked at Miramar for 3 years......it got old quick.

Worked at Miramar for just under 2 yrs. Best duty station ever.

Actually have my "name on a plaque" in the tower.

MYF and Miramar are only 3nm apart. Flown very loose formation with F18's, C130's, Ospreys, choppers while downwind many times.

yeah you learned real quick to not get too far south in the Miramar pattern......unless you really wanted to get up close and personal with MYF traffic

When? I was there 2001-2004! No names on plaques, but there is a major who prolly still curses me to this day.
