Careless and Reckless?
That was awesome!
Oh jeez.........Yeah, but one mistake.....
I thought it was purdy koolThat was awesome!
It'd have been more impressive if he'd hung the keys outside in view of the camera.
Nope, end of the video he fired it right up. That was his 'ace up his sleeve'. If it wasn't going to work out he could always fire it up and fly out of there.
I was kidding in my last post (as were you), cool video.
Careless and Reckless?
Yeah, I think the NTSB report would have said "stupid pilot tricks".

It depends on if he intended to log it as PIC
Okay, I just had a thought, scarcely I know.
If he did crash would the FAA even care? If a climber falls off a shear rock cliff they are falling, not flying. If a base jumper crashes the FAA shrugs it's shoulders. If he crashes "falling" off a cliff in an airplane was he really flying? Or just wind surfing?
Similar to Bob Hoover deadstick aerobatics....
One could argue at that point he fits into the glider category and he may not be properly certificated.
By that argument, I could fly a twin by only starting up one engine on my ASEL.
