Scheduled to be retired (removed so I hear) in 2028. Reason was increase in solar and wind power (again, so I hear)

Time for your 100 hour inspection... Turn your head and cough!Hit 100 hours in the 737. Coming back from St. Lucia
Fewer pyramids and less sand than I would have expected.Flew the archer down to Cairo today; been wanting to do that for a long time. I think it's starting to gentrify a bit as there are several mansions that look like they've been restored. LOTS of barge traffic...I suppose that's normal for harvest time. Enjoyed seeing the confluence of the Ohio & Mississippi. Always lots of cool industry along big rivers.

Nice little place. Wind was nearly 20 knots but right down the runway. Sure helped me stop by the turnoff.Cool! That's the airport that I took my first 10 hours of instruction at.
Dad & I were driving (like peasants) to see my brother at SDSU. Around midnight we saw a glow in the distance and as we got closer, it became apparent it was a 100' jolly green giant.Landed at KSBU today - Blue Earth, MN. Took the RNAV down to 900. Loggable approach.
