...are very difficult to find, these days, especially in a 32/30 or thereabouts. Got any favorites?

Thrift store? Amazon, etsy or ebay?

I think my dad has some left over from the 60’s.

I actually got some from Banana Republic during the holiday sales. Decent price and fit well.

In 20 years you may find that you have fallen out of their target demographic...

Orvis but they will run you .2 AMU unless they're on sale but I still wear a pair that were my Dad's. Must be 30 years old. Good stuff.

I freaking hate corduroy. Touching it gives me the ick. Same with velour.

One of my wife's psycho friends threatened to wrap the doorknobs in our house with corduroy, just to mess with me.

Already there, next to the cargo shorts, new balance, and crocs...

He likes to hear himself walk…..

Vvvripp….vvvvriipp….vvvvripp……vvvvvvriippp. The larger the thighs, the more vvvrip you get.

A brisk walk and a person runs the risk of their pants bursting into flames...

Have you heard about corduroy pillows? They're making headlines.
…or corduroy condoms….for a groovy kind of love…….(1960’s - had to be there I guess)

My last pair of corduroy pants were, in fact 32X30 and red.

Carrying a stupid airplane battery got some acid on them and the holes eventually made them unwearable. RIP...

Who’s the psycho? :p:D

You're not alone....I have the same issue with velour! It's been so long since I've touched corduroy that I can't say for sure with it....it's probably been at least 20-30 years but the last I can truly remember was about 40 years ago.
I get the same ick feeling with some of the microfiber upholstery they put on sofas and chairs...only some of it, not all.

You who make fun of the OP for being out of touch fashion-wise, the joke’s on you. See GQ: https://www.gq.com/story/the-best-corduroy-pants

”If you’ve got legs and any semblance of style, here are 22 pairs of men's corduroy pants to consider copping right away.
I tried the Carhartt's, assuming that they'd be made in this hemisphere given the pricetag, but I was wrong. I tend towards baggy clothes, but they fit like a sack...

Same isle as earth shoes and leisure suits!

@GeorgeC has the same pants size as me. I have a bunch of corduroy pants in the basement, haven't worn them in some time. Can't really say why.

$400-$1250 for horrid, ill fitting pants made of any fabric are not something worn unless you live in an alternate reality (which seems to be 50% of everyone).

I felt pretty good about corduroy until seeing that article. Barf...
