Closed for the night

it's 7:45 and airport is closed to incoming and departing traffic. Any ideas why ?

Didn't think about the night show. Planning on a day trip Wednesday and that doesn't leave much time after day show

night airshow is Wednesday, and the airspace closes nightly around 8 per the notam, which I haven't read. So its just closed for the night.

A-26 Invader could not get its nose gear down and had to make emergency landing on runway 36. I'm not there but was following on Live ATC.

yeah and confirmed airspace closes at 8pm per the notam. so 7:45 is slightly early for that.

This is the third closure in two days. Hopefully no one was hurt tonight. An A-26 is a big bird! I did hear them report 5 souls aboard.

Hearing they closed it because 6PC is chasing Patty down the runway. Something about him hollering, "but I have penis confetti"!
