cleaning wheel wells on retracts?

Curious what the best way to get the wheel wells cleaned up from mud being thrown up on retracts? I mainly fly off of dirt and gravel strips/bars and flew into a couple airports that were pretty wet and muddy this week, and the wheel wells show it.

I thought about using a sprayer with some avgas mixed in to get all the gunk off and spraying with acf afterwards, wondering what works best for those with retracts flying off of dirt or grass.

Nice, I thought about it but figured getting a bunch of water inside the wing wasn't a good plan. I was going to use a portable sprayer since there are no utilities anywhere close. I'll just go easy on it I guess.

It's a better plan than using a pump sprayer and gasoline.
