I was puzzled from the start of the trial, when the prosecutors failed to have a cause of death, weapon, time, or place of death, and no witness as to anything of substance.
The whole fabric of the case was "these things could have happened and this woman may have done this, or that," but they never actually brought anything of value to the table, imo.
I have to wonder about the competence of a State Attorney that goes for the death penalty without strong, unquestionable facts. The crux of the case seemed to be, "Casey is a really, really bad person and should get the chair."
I'm glad it's over and hope the hub bub goes away, now.
