This little booger flies pretty quick:

Cal Parker's "TEENIE TWO"

ENGINE - VW (only)

EMPTY WEIGHT - 310 lbs.

FUEL - 9 gallons.

WING SPAN - 18 feet, 19 feet 10 inches w/wingtips.

LENGTH - 12 feet 10 inches.

GROSS WEIGHT - 590 Ibs - normal 550 Ibs.

USEFULL LOAD - 240 utility to 280 lbs. standard catagory.

CLIMB - 800 fpm.

STALL SPEED - 48 mph.

CRUISE - 3/4 throttle 110 mps 2 1/2 gph

TOP SPEED level 120 mph, Up to 140 mph with
full canopy & cowl.

TRICYCLE GEAR 350 x 4 tires & wheels

Very simple construction. No metal working or riveting experience needed.

I actually met and did some work for Cal back in the mid 90’s while I was stationed in TX. He was an interesting guy, and I got to actually sit in that airplane. Well, you don’t actually sit in it so much as put it on. Still have the original plans and VHS video somewhere. He said he’d had some Consolidated or Republic aircraft company engineers run the loads/stress numbers on the design when he drew it up. Still, that wing is mighty small.

You use one of these driven by an air compressor to pull the rivets. The container at the back catches the spent mandrels.
