What is the situation on Bose headset repairs,
8? yo A20’s, just want them gone through, cleaned up, tested, one may not be anc-ing properly.
The website offers no details on options or pricing.
When searching, non-oem repair sites popped up, they any good?

I've used Terry at KC headsets twice with excellent results (one Lighstpeed and one DC). Very nice guy and does excellent work.

Last I had mine OH by Bose it was a flat fee of $225. and they come back like new. Call them and they will send you a shipping label.

I needed a cable repair on my A20. Flat fee of $225.00 including the shipping label. Got it back within 7 days. Came back like new with new headband pads, batteries, ear cups, etc. Did this about a month ago.

I bought my Bose from Sportys 9 years ago. Twice I dropped them off at sportys and they sent them to Bose for a repair. First time they came back from Bose in new condition and no charges, not even shipping and fast.
Second time they came back like new and fast but there was a $225.00 charge that I paid to sportys. Both times it only took about a week until I got them back. Both times Bose shipped them to my home.
I use mine a lot in several planes, so lot's of wear and tear.

Another satisfied customer of KC headsets here. He just repaired a Bose X for me. Great work and great communication.

Sounds like their service is on par with all the other headset manufacturers. A flat fee of $225 is low if you need a total overhaul.
