I'm trying to compile a list (maybe this could be a "sticky"?) of aircraft type clubs, and haven't been able to find a single, comprehensive list.

Thanks!

ABS here, as well.

Viking owners have a forum and meet every couple of years but no club (roster, dues, newsletter, etc)

Woo hoo! I can be the first to invoke the Piper Owner's Society! www.piperowner.org

No, I'm not a particularly fan of it but I did belong to it for a while.

There's a guy down at the end of the hangar row restoring a Colonial Skimmer that hasn't flown since the late '70s early '80s. He may have flown it this fall - it was real close when I last talked to him. I did get a short video of it moving under it's own power in front of the hangar.

There is a T-18 mutual aid society and a HP gliders group. I would assume most reasonably popular homebuilts have at least a mailing list. (Never seen one for my ride, though.)

SRA Stearman Retorers Association.

I let my membership lapse but am hoping for a renewal as a Christmas Present.

Great Group that helps each other with various aircraft questions, problems, maintenance and parts.

American Navion Society (navionsociety.org).

It's still the American Yankee Association, but it's been "rebranded" as "AYA - the International Grumman American Pilots Association" so folks know it's not a bunch of Civil War Union Army reenactors or something.

The Grumman Gang is an email list dedicated to the Grumman-American family of light planes, but not really a "type club."

As witnessed personally in St. Simon's Island for the AYA International Fly-in, where I thought I had entered "Gone with the Wind", until I politely explained what the heck I was doing there. :D
