Doug,

I like FLYSKIS. That's something that's fairly unique to be able to do even amongst the already unique community of aviators. See you in February!

> People are too busy texting to look at your brake lights

So I guess TXTL8R would be pointless, eh?

I was going to get a vanity plate, but in NH for just a little more, you can get one that pays the wildlife service here to take care of the parks. Plus I get free parking in the White Mountains, and my plate is 00011. The program had just started, so it's cool to have such a low number :)

Not on your list, but of all the ones I have seen here, I love "0 AGL". That one available in your state?

One of my former employees had 0 AGL in Virginia (on the VA aero plates).
He had very carefully put a slash through the zero with black tape as well.

A women pulled up beside me and said she loved my bumper sticker. I presume she was talking about my "Kenobi in 2012 -- Our only hope" sticker. The other one is a bit more obsure. There's a piece of braille tape on the back of my car that says "If you can read this you are too damn close."

> LV2FLY mine for 10 years.

Mostly, I change them every year - except for RAINSUX. That one stays on the
roadster.

Some Instrument Rating inspired ones...

200OVC
500FPM
90KTS
GLDSLP
ILS
VECTOR

(A controller somewhere has UNABLE... Haha.)

Seen these...

FLYJETS
FLYGRL
JET-A
DOWNWND
C210
WAVEOFF

I saw this one the other day. Guy's gotta be a pilot.

I just got OAGL here in NH :)

Unfortunately, you can't start a vanity plate with a zero, and you can't put a space between the O and the AGL, so that's the best I could do.

I guess I could have gone with ZEROAGL.

I have N747JB in my garage, I had it on my truck when I discontinued "demos" for all employees, I have since gotten smarter and now I drive a demo with a dealer tag, so it sits on the wall. :D My wife's 99 Mustang GT has her tag on it, STEF, I don't know why it has a tag at all, it's got 5700 miles on it. :dunno:

Interesting. I attended the first week of a 13 week class last Thursday for Private Pilot Ground School (Written Exam). The teacher said her first plane, the 150 that I fly now, is the same N number as her license plate number.

Why are you doing more groundschool?

Being from NC my plate already has a picture of an airplane on it and I figure that's good enough

Saw this yesterday: SWA LUV

My wife has threatened to get KTOABUM for my truck
