For those following @kath and her Great North American Adventure threads, she’s in town this week. Sounds like a good excuse for us to meet up and have a beer! I was thinking Tuesday night at the Downwind Restaurant at PDK.

Will likely need help with transportation to/from the GATech area.
 
I'm interested (not committed yet, though). Point me to a thread about her adventures and let's talk about arrival time at PDK. Better be 6:30 or later for me, more if I need to be @kath's transportation.
 
Man, if I didn’t have a full schedule on Wednesday, I’d almost be tempted to drive down for this.

Sounds good. I work in downtown, so GATech would be mostly on the way.

Where around GATech? Kath, if you’re really adventurous I’m a couple of stops south on the Marta rail next to the Peachtree Center station. ;)

While you’re in Atlanta Uber is a great way to get around.

I'll be in whichever building hosts the Physics Department, and staying at an AirBnb just on the north edge of campus.
 
The Colorado Gang would throw a full-on gala, I'm just sayin'! We did it for AggieMike!
 
I'm probably out if it's facing the downtown connector. But the Downwind, I can possibly make this.
 
I'm in, I'm driving up from the south side of the city. @kath just send me a message and I can pick you up on the way.
 
Wish I could attend, but I'm out. I forgot, but SWMBO reminded me that I'd already issued her a hall pass for Tuesday evening. So I'll be stuck on domestic duty that evening.
 
I'm in. What time? I'm planning on going straight from the office, unless we meet-up late.
 
I'm going to bring a local student pilot who is not on POA but I think would just like to meet some people.

Damn, I left mine at home! Kath is bringing a student pilot friend, so you get to write it off! :)
