Have 40+ year old Stewart Warner I would like O/H'ed.

Yes. I've had good service with them.

They did the oil coolers on the 310 at overhaul. Seem to cool the oil just fine.

The did the oil cooler on my Mooney. No problems in 6 years.

I worked for a part 135 company in the 80's we sent everything from DC-3 oilcoolers to lyc. Cont. coolers they did good back then and they are still in bussiness...........

I have never used them personally, but just about every single airplane I have seen in the Southwest had a Pacific Oil Cooler sticker on theirs. They definitely have the most business.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll get a quote and go from there.

Pulled it off and shipped it yesterday. I don't think it was leaking but it was pretty filthy. This is off a c177 and any oil spilled at the sump filler hits the oil cooler duct and it eventually gets the cooler fins oily which collects and dirt, grass, paint chips etc that my find its way into the cooler.

Mine is out there right now. My mechanic's been using them for a while I guess. I was happy with the price and turn-around time. We'll see how everything goes once it's back in. =)
