I had a chance to do that one some years back (Israeli third) in a 172 but a "Libyan Low" was coming through that day .During low levels in a C-130 over the Dead Sea in Jordan, the altimeter read -1,030. The instruments surely didn't break.
Takes work but we do our best.just when I thought you guys couldn't get any lower.....

While landing is fine, I don't recommend stopping unless you want your tires to melt.
