You really don't notice the crowds, the grounds are so big. Popular seminars fill up, but the tents have sufficient seating to handle it. About the only time I felt crowded was on the plaza during the monday entertainment with the bands. But just stay on the edge, no problems. Lines can be long at the popular eateries. But that's about it.For someone who hates crowds and waking up in a tent covered in sweat, with the "sweltering heat", "thunderstorms", "mosquitoes", etc. what is the one thing about this fly in that makes it all worth it?
Bugs? you betcha. Deet or whatever you prefer.
What makes it worthwhile? Lots of people who like airplanes. Lots of airplanes. Lots of fun.
