Very Rare U.S. Navy Turnbull Pilots Reclining Briefing Room / Ready Room Chair. Used on U.S. and Aircraft Carriers, and as seen in Top Gun and other Movies. I have 2 USED item from an Aircraft Carrier Mission briefing Room.
It's in original unrestored original condition and needs minor TLC. Both chairs recline and the desk swivel are in perfect condition.
Local Pickup, or contact to discuss shipping options. I may be able to deliver to locations in Virginia for nominal delivery fee, please contact for details.
Also, It should be possible to partially dissemble the chair and ship it in two shipments and remain under FedEx 70lbs. per package limit.

sure are however, yours is in a bit better shape. Mine have no tears and everything works, they just need some TLC and a Den or office to call a home.

I grabbed that info off of a website that had the info on it. Most likely a part number internal to the manufacturer. I posted photos! Thanks for the heads up.

Any specific provenance for these seats?

Were these from a specific ship of some renown? Did the buttocks of someone well known in military aviation warm these cushions?

Or were they sourced from a government surplus warehouse?

Errrr.... looks like I was wrong.

YEAH, they need some TLC, original paint on them, no tears in the cushions and the parts all work. I intended on cleaning them up, that project has been sitting around for years.

I also have 2 Ready Room Chairs I am selling. They are original and in need of some re-upholstering...listed in Classifieds on Pilots of America and Ebay. Not sure of what ship they were on...surplus on Air National Guard Base. History unknown..these chairs are in original condition...stamped TURNBULL ..see photos in listing. Thanks.
