JPI EDM 700, 730, 800, or 830, depending how much I was willing to spend and what features I was willing to pay for. I've had JPI EDM's in three planes over the last 17 years and maybe 2500 hours, and I'm absolutely sold on them.
Might make sure their is adequate space fore of the hole, the jpi-s can be longish.
If you had 1, 3.125" hole in the panel open, and wanted a CHT/EGT instrument, which would you buy, and why?
show links if ya gottem.
I've instructed in planes with most everything there is. I remain sold on JPI.Have you used anything else to compare ?

My only experience with JPI has been constantly changing failed EGT probes, a problem I haven't has with EI.
Granted lots of people don't have any issues with JPI so ionno

I may be missing it, but If the only issue is the size of an existing hole and not maybe room on the instrument panel, I wouldn't let it be a factor in my choice.
I'm sure there could be some sheet metal solution if you have the space otherwise.
I believe that a good SM person can asjust anything, to fit if the space is physically there.
