I can't think of one question. This is the classical "accident waiting to happen".

According to his wife, the pilot was having difficulty with his night vision and depth perception. She stated that he avoided flying at night and that he had struck objects while maneuvering his car in a parking garage in the months prior to the accident.

His plane's annual was expired too (not that it had anything to do with the accident).

Was it pride or overconfidence, when given a choice to divert to a VMC airport,why wouldn't you. Couldn't have been that low on fuel ,if he tried three more approaches. If you go missed more than once it's time to find another airport.

Accident occurred on December 18, 2014.

yah, the NTSB report said he reported having 8 hours of fuel remaining!
