172 down today with audio panel problem
172 down yesterday with recent overhaul mag (eng installed few weeks ago)
140 down, 2 bad cylinders on an overhaul engine (installed in April)
152 down, flap motor & actuator

Leaves the Arrow which no one flys...

Reckon I'll take my wife shopping and to lunch. :D

Fly the arrow and break it, just to demonstrate your total domination of the fleet.

Fly the arrow, but then write up a squawk that for some reason, fuel is only being used from one tank (unlike the cessnas).

Goodness sakes, Mark! You must be tough on airplanes!

;)

It would appear he is anti-low-wing/Piper.

Not at all, I'll fly anything, no preference. All my students are working on their PPC and Arrow $195/hr, which they choose not to pay. Therefore we wait....

That's pretty spendy for an Arrow. Is it near-new?

How does a recent mag overhaul ground a plane?

I bet your wife hates your mechanics.

Overhauled/rebuilt engine installed around April I think. So another CFI and student doing their run up and when they tested the left mag the engine started to quit. Mechanic checked it shortly afterward and had the same result. So a bad mag and a good one. Would you take off on one mag? That's how it grounds a plane.

No, not at all. Not the mechaic's fault parts wear out. But had to take her to lunch and shopping being I didn't go to the airport today.

Best to use all the mags or no mags. :)
