2024 Blue Angels practice schedule

A little time to kill, I thought I would post the 2024 practice schedule. The practices are held at NAS Pensacola. Gates on scheduled days open at 0930 and T.O. time is 1030 CST. A gov ID was required in prior years to get in. It may have been dropped by now. Check the Facebook page. The 2024 shows are there also.

March 28 & 29.
April 4&5, 11&12, 18&19, 25&26.
May 2&3, 9&10, 16&17, 31.
June 6&7, 13&14, 20&21, 27&28
July 11&12, 25&26 (A major airshow is scheduled for July on Pensacola Beach.)
Aug 1, 16, 22&23, 29
Sept 6, 12, 19
Oct 18, 24&25

Best place to park and watch is the rear of the Museum parking lot. The team usually sign autographs at the museum front door under the Tomcat. Catch lunch inside.

They’re letting the public in now. Another good viewing area is the lighthouse.

I had the good fortune of flying by during a practice session a few years back. Tower asked me to stay about 5 miles north. Still close enough to get a decent view. Not a great pic as was shot with a phone, but you can see the smoke trails from a reverse cuban 8.

Local authorities are having a fit over the auto traffic jams at the back entrance to the NAS on practice mornings. This is a new thing for this year. Said to be epic.
