That will certainly work, just have a decent chance of getting a noise on the intercom/radio. I had to audition a few cheap ones until I found something that worked well enough. Seems there are some reasonably priced ones these days that seem to be tailored at aircraft - hopefully they are quiet.Do you have a cigarette lighter? Stratus makes a 2.5 A USB-A charger. Solid, interference free. Two ports.
Just had the Stratus port installed. Works good. It will charge an iPad while running ForeFlight.
