A few years back I bought one for the heck of it. It looks like new. Now im leaking and it is the the sump. Just knocking around how big a job it isYours leaking? There is a new spray welding technique that has been approved. Airworx had a third party repair mine with that method. They are made out of magnesium and normal welding often leads to more cracks.
The O-300 has a drain plug in front of the carb that is often hidden by baffles and is often overlooked. Quite common to find water there.
