I use track up as then I just follow the yellow brick road, ok the Meginta line. I fly only day, vfr unless you consider IFR as "I follow roads" , then I am an ifr type of pilot. Using mountions or other features out there to fly to, keeping track of the course it just is easier when track is up

Just had both Bendix mags rebuilt, new parts as needed and a new harness for both mags for $770..... nothing was wrong but 340 hr in 27 years and it is time to be sure all it good. My A&P wanted to switch to Slick's... but I like Bendix better so stayed the course. Flying is expensive enough...

Look at the K&N type filters.... much better than the foam gooie ones.... I clean and service mine at annual and it is not an issue.....

I would recommend moving the vertical compus to the center post, remove the Whisky compus completely, and gain another spot for an instrument. Move the other instruments to the standard 6pak locations... and use the G5's in the center....
