    Airsickness

I've had the same problems (and never been seasick) and have to agree that stress is definitely a factor. The Relief Band needs a setting higher than "4" to counter tension...say "50." Whether you survive the shock or not, you will feel no stress. Ginger ale tastes good both ways...

WSJ: Not enough runways so we must privatize ATC

Having flown about 35,000 miles this summer in the U.S. and Canada, the only flight delays I encountered were weather related. And the flight always eventually showed up. :( Schedule upsets don't upset me, and I really wanted to get bumped so I could have a free ticket. But, noooo...

    Do you run?

Wow. Someone gave me a road bike (Nishiki) last year. I would like to learn to ride it, but haven't put a lot of time into it. Was just in Montreal last week...I miss the food.

    Do you run?

Good job! Intervals and hill training speed me up. Tempo runs are supposed to help too, but I haven't played that way as much as I should. Be careful about over-training and opening yourself up to injury. (This from a lazy person who doesn't run much in July and August and am just getting...

    Do you run?

That's a pretty good pace. I tell people I do it to stay in shape, but it's really the endorphins. Last year was the first time I ran competitively...a 1/2 marathon (2:18...it was mostly uphill :D) and a 10k (54 min.). Oh, and I won a doorprize at the 10k. I'm considering a 1/2 marathon...

Someone emailed a photo of that bike to me with the title, "What to do with those old engine parts..." Dean...love the avatar!

    Politics (non-political)

Good point. And that is where the consolation is when you've done well over the long haul and the mediocre are still getting the flashy rewards. The fact that this is bothering you shows that joining the PTA probably won't help. I served a term, years ago, on my local school board and decided...

Any girly-girls on this board? Nail question

They ("they" being the magazine articles I've read in the past) say one should file in one direction, or file each side toward the center. Also, don't file after bathing...make sure they are dry. The nail care advertisers would disagree, but I suspect that strong nails are a genetic thing more...
