Easy solution. Whilst 'tooling around in the pattern", leave the pump on.

I read it was found out they were below the glide slope and made contact with one of the ILS antenna's, almost landing short of the rwy.

It occurs to me you could contact them and let them know where you are doing and decline FF .

I would agree if the condition occurred AFTER the medical was obtained, but I dont think this is the case here.

I am not expert, but it occurs to me that if you have a First class medical, you should surrender it. You might not have done it on purpose, but if you know have a disqualifying condition, IMO,you committed perjury when you filled out your application for the medical certificate... Item 18 says...
