True. It's all relative. Compared to the barn doors on 172 they don't make much difference. I think the difference in stall speed is 3 kts.

Guy I know (ATP) posted on FB that he witnessed it. Said he was stalled coming out of the clouds. Looked like mushing to me but whatever. Said he watched them pull the bodies out. Ugh.

You can see the plane clearly in the video from post #1. Looks like it is mushing and then probably stalled. Not sure this is weather related. Unless they were VFR and had no horizon and that's why the mushing.
