I wonder what's more embarrassing. This accident or having 10% of the U.S. F22 fleet destroyed or damaged because someone decided not moving them out the way of a massive hurricane was sound strategy.

This is my point exactly. Delta loses $12 billion but still wants to grossly overcharge their best customers for the exact same product that their worst customer can buy for 1/4 the price.

And yet...I tried to book a ticket on Delta to go from Salt Lake to Boise this weekend. Delta wanted $744 for the coach comfort provided by an RJ. $78 was taxes. Baggage fees are not included. I can do that flight for $300 in fuel and the same amount of time. It's never hard to feel bad for...

I don't think that's a desk. I think that's where the controller plugs in. I just spent $20k fixing a ding in one propeller blade. That bed looks like a pretty good deal.

Total ripoff. Doesn't pay for the scenario I just outlined. I'm not being unreasonable in the scenario I outlined. No weather is anywhere near my route of flight, I should be compensated for the cancelled flight as if it were a mechanical. At least when I pay a huge price for a last minute...

And BTW, in the scenario outlined above, if the airline just said "Sorry, we cut it too close but we have no choice because most of our customers would rather save a dollar than arrive on time, let us cover your costs.", I'd cease all whining.
