Starting to think about my next rating - and *really* digging this checkride prep video from DPE Leslie Henninger. You may may find it useful if you're headed for a multi or ATP ticket. Anybody else have any cool multi training resources to share?

Me too about 150 with a 45kt tailwind, 9,500 from Ohio to Maine. Smooth ride, but OAT was at 0 degrees F. We were shivering pretty hard despite full on winter gear.

T&G are probably more proof of competency. I think stops are safer. I ask my students to make full stops and taxi back at short fields.

I'm pretty comfortable flying a night. I was offered a gig flying my 172 pre-dawn from Florida to Nassau and back, once or twice weekly. No, thanks.

Also, most CFIs keep a file of checkride reports from students they send to DPEs - if yours doesn't, ask around. Somebody does. pm me w your email, I'll send you some for a Texas-based DPE.

Aaw, @mulligan , I thought you did fine with the pictures you posted a while back - poked my nest pretty good. AND studied a whole bunch rather than having the CFII do the heavy lifting? Sounds like a student I'd like to fly with.
