Diagnosed for Anxiety but denied coverage

So you blew off the doctors orders and stopped going. Yes this will be a problem as there is no recorded resolution. As far as the FAA is concerned, you still have general anxiety and are refusing the perscribed treatment.

Beating myself up real bad about failed ASEL CPL checkride

It may seam trivial, but it's something that should have been ingrained in your head since before you solo for PPL. Something that could kill you and your passengers if you had do do a go around when hot and heavy and couldn't climb due to reduced performance. So I see why he would pink slip...

Received FAA request for records, confused on what to do next.

So itsounds like you had an issue, to the point of being medicated. The FAA want to know the resolution to this situation. They don't know if the problem resolved or you just said screw it, stopped taking the meds and fired your psyc.

If VFR, fly the valley past KSZP, stay above 4500' as there is an acrobatic box in that area to Magic Mountain, , through Newhall Pass, be sure to decend imediatly to avoid the Burbank shelf at 3,000. "Whiteman tower, Bugsmasher XXXX, Newhall Pass, landing with Delta." Easy and will set you...

ADHD / 3rd class medical GUT PUNCH -- questions.

And for the record, you don't need a medical to learn to fly. You need it to solo and take the check ride. You don't have to stop learinig when you get to the solo and can't take it. Skip it and move on with our CFI. Do all the learning and practicing for you PPL if you don't have your...

    FAA SODA vision question?

Do you want to fly for fun or for a career? For fun, you will have no problems getting a 3rd class medical if your bad eye has at worst 20/40 vision. If it is not correctable to 20/40, you may have to obtain a SODA for monocular vision.

    Peeing solutions

Google "Texas catheter" , it is basically a condom, with glue on the inside, that has a plastic tip for pushing a piece of hose on. Then run that to a collection bag. I learned to use these scuba diving in a dry suit (with a P valve) and they have come in handy on long cross country motorcycle...

    C150F N7893F crash near KSQI 7/24/21

Your conditions or 150's must be much bettter than what I've flown. I have aprox 100 hours in 4 or 5 different 150's, and with 40 deg of flaps out, NONE of them will give you a positive climb rate with 2 people. Solo, it would maintain altitude long enough to pull the flaps up to 20 degrees on...

    Student Engine Out Goes Right

People today are fat. My flight school can't keep the 150's tanked topped up, too many people would be flying over gross weight. They probably keep 10-15 gallons in them most of the time. So taking off with 2.5 hrs of fuel was SOP where i trained. It ment you had to have them topped off if...

    Color blind or not?

The ishahara dot plates are the most difficult test to pass, expeciaily in poor or incorrect lighting. Your options are to find a AME that has some of the alternative tests (not easy) or as others have mentioned obtain a SODA through the FAA. Note that if you fail the test with the FAA, your...

He probably actually has no clue how much oil the system needs. Depending on all the additional coolers, plumbing, redrive, etc, and if some/all of that oil drains back into the motor sump after shut down, the marks on the factory dipstick are useless. Thats assuming the motor is at the same...
