I fly a 77q . I go in and out of an 1180 ft strip, 4 wire fence on each end, 80 degrees plus temp. It's a pucker factor. If the approach isn't perfect, I go around. Until it's perfect. Getting better, but always a challenge. I do have vgs. Dont let the naysayers say it fant be done...

HOLY CRAP. So I volunteer my plane, time gas, etc. etc. to try to help some distressed pilot, parents with lost kids, lost hunters and so on, and Garmin wants me to pay a couple thousand for that PRIVELAGE? I certainly cant afford that. That makes me sad.

I was trying to get my gtn750 to display the SAR function as per section 4.2.4 of my manual. I'm running sw ver 6.62. When I go to the setup screen SAR says LOCKED. It wont unlock. Anyone know what I'm missing?

Maybe just take all of the above for fact and then go find one of each to take a ride in or fly. See what you fall in love with.
