    Happy Unemployment Day

So if someone post they are now unemployed they are required to give details as to why?? :dunno: BTW, Kudos to the poster that offered to help OD out and the others that have offered suggestions for employment.

    Happy Unemployment Day

The OP posted: I would think if he wanted to elaborate he would, or will. But for others to start innuendo as to what may, or may not have happened is just irresponsible.

    Happy Unemployment Day

I think it's entirely inappropriate to be discussing someone's employment or leaving a job without their permission. :nono:

Does the IFR Rating Make Us Safer Pilots?

    Boeing 727

The laches had a good spring on them and I never saw one that hung. As others said, that's an emergency exit and if anyone ever saw one not working it would be fixed before the next flight. Remember these planes would get a maintenance preflight, the engineer would do a preflight and after...

where to go for Type Rating ?

Higher Power probably offers the best rates. Aerostar Type Ratings also does the 737.

where to go for Type Rating ?

I was thinking you could do it on your next recurrent if you went to the sim. Good luck with your ATP.

where to go for Type Rating ?

I take it your current employer doesn't send you to the sim on the Falcon? Even if you are right seat you could get your ATP next time in the sim. There are several sims available, like someone said earlier Higher Power does 737 classic training. If that's what you want, go for it.

where to go for Type Rating ?

    Yea, you'll get the ATP.

where to go for Type Rating ?

But you are getting a type with a limitation, and if you don't fly the 737 the limitation is never removed.

where to go for Type Rating ?

Another problem is a first time Jet type rating requires 25 hours of SOE to remove the SOE limitation from the certificate.

where to go for Type Rating ?

Not to dissuade you, but an SIC type is nothing like a full type. Another thing you need to consider: You don't have a jet type (SIC doesn't count) and if you get a type in a 737 you will have an SOE limitation that you won't be able to remove.

    Cessna brake hose??

OK, now stop that! It should read: #1 Go on internet and ask a self proclaimed expert what to do. #2 Read several pages of inane and ridiculous post, watch as thread drifts away from original topic. #3 Turn off computer, ask a competent individual for advise. #4 Build...

It will still be an uphill climb in an Airbus.
