What do you believe is flying over New Jersey?

Chinese gathering inelegance from the mother ship....off the shores of Jersey. ;)

It is being said, "they are not foreign, they are not a threat, they are not armed, we don't know what they are ... " :dunno:

Yep, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain…

You know that throwing a net at them has been working from the beginning of drone development. Many military drones are even retrieved with nets.

For those Gillnetters in the crowd, you know how effective a Gillnet is at catching anything and everything.

From the Iranian mothership (pretty shocking report) ...

I understand that one landed and a crew member gave an interview with a reporter from the Babylon Bee. I think the guy's name was Klaatu, or something like that.....

Not saying it's wrong, but it's "shocking" if you are someone who trusts a politician.

Not that this guy was in DC in 2003, but that's right about when my trust in any individual Congresscritter's testimony about the threat level of a foreign country declined precipitously.

If there were an Iranian mothership parked off the east coast for a month and our folks didn't know about it, I would be quite shocked. Cameras tend to make folks babble a bit ...

With no relevance to anything whatsoever, the rapid fall of Syria's military and Assad was partially made possible by drones provided by Ukraine.

This just in...

Apparently the US is being attacked by the tiny (three miles by five miles) European Duchy of Grand Fenwick, located in the Alps between Switzerland and France, a country on the verge of bankruptcy and destitution.

Their prime minister decided that their only course of action is to declare war on the United States. They were expecting a quick and total defeat since their standing army is tiny and equipped with radar guided bows and arrows. Apparently the country is confident that they will be rebuilt through the largesse that the United States bestows on all its vanquished enemies (as it did for Germany through the Marshall Plan at the end of World War II).

It seems the prime minister of Duchy of Grand Fenwick sent a formal written declaration of war, but apparently this was misplaced by the US State Department. After receiving no response from the US, the Duchy was forced to muster some drones and stage an actual invasion, thus the drones that have been spotted in New Jersey.

The Pentagon has pieced together what is happening with help from googling The Duchy of Grand Fenwick and a Fenwickian flag left behind on a flagpole. The Secretary of Defense, Lloyd J. Austin III has admitted to both being ashamed and astonished to learn that the United States was unaware that it had been at war for two months.

Stay tuned for further updates...

I heard that someone picked up a faint radio transmission that sounded like "ho ho ho".

Did I just hear a mouse roar?

Would any of this show up on some sort of radar?

Yes. Pentagon already stated there's no drone mothership of any kind off the coast, from any country. They deferred to law enforcement. The media and ****-poor law enforcement response is to blame for the hysteria over this.

What exactly is law enforcement supposed to do about drones? Did the local PD or New Jersey State Police take over aviation matters from the FAA?

They're the one's saying "we're looking into it." If they're not, they should be deferring to whomever actually is.

A marketing campaign by some commercial enterprise, like Nike, Tesla, or Burger King.

Or someone trying to make a point about security. Demonstrate flaws in policy.

Or a new illegal alien/undocumented immigrant tracking tool, with a claw or tractor beam, being beta tested.

Nope. And it doesn’t make much sense that their purpose is nefarious, given their use of lights and apparent adherence to drone altitude restrictions.

No entries into controlled airspace? Thus no FAA concerns?

Ummm. Cough, cough, what? Ummm, odd timing in relation to the congressional hearings, Not suspicious at all, create a very public example of what was discussed (unidentified phenomenon), build up a public frenzy, then present a very reasonable explanation of what it was latter to misdirect… classic playbook maneuver, (I’m half joking half wondering if that is what it really is?)

Are the drones actually doing anything illegal?
Drones over a certain weight need the drone version of ADSB. If they were squawking, we should be able to ID them, no? If not, they're operating illegally.

There's something about drones that freaks people out. I've never understood why.

You know what freaks me out?
