Ok thank you could you see what your panel would look like in your specific aircraftYou can go to hangarflying.com and play around with their panel builder. You'll need to sign up for a (free) account but they have a pretty good selection of panels and avionics to try. It's not something you could use to have a panel cut, but it's a step up from doodling with a pencil.
You can select the appropriate panel for your aircraft type and then create it. Should give you a good sense of the rough layout.Ok thank you could you see what your panel would look like in your specific aircraft

Will 1 mile let me see what it will look like in my aircraftWe use CAD to design everything, but 1mileup.com seems decent.
Jeez... $495 for an owner to play around with. Unfortunately, seems to be par for the course which is why I haven't bought any of these products. We use CAD to design everything, but 1mileup.com seems decent.

I would just use the snipping tool in Windows to get an image of it, which I could then either print or attach to an email if I wanted my avionics guy to look at it. There is also an Export link at the top of the page which will allow you to download an image and also an equipment list of what you have in the panel. That is a neat software thanks for sharing.
