Tech pushed FSU around the field most of the day and won at the end. The field goal accounted for the winning points, but Tech was the better team.Ga Tech 24 FSU 21 on a last second field goal in Dublin.
These aren't grown men, at least in the important areas. Their brains are not yet fully developed and their overall judgement is lacking. But they are learning lessons like commitment, discipline (in some schools) and physical endurance.Oh boy.!!
Time to watch grown men play with wrinkly leather balls again.!!
If they’re old enouh to be sent to war, then they’re old enough to vote on it.These aren't grown men, at least in the important areas. This is also why I think the voting age should be raised to about 25.
But when it comes to pro football, I agree with you.
Not sure there are an adequate number of likes for this. Oh, and Go Ole Miss.Number 4 Miami: 23
Number ?? Ga Tech: 28

We have been, since… well… since Pelini left, at least.Sorry about your luck, but give it time.
I can’t wait for the season to start, first game this Friday for us. I’m the biggest non-football fan you’ve ever met- yet I hold season tickets to MSU football. My boy is a trumpet section leader for The MSU Marching bad. So I love football season

Ga. Tech beat Miami
Miami beat Florida
Florida beat Ole MIss
Ole Miss beat Georgia (yay).
Of Friday, Ga Tech gets to complete the circle when they play Georgia! GO JACKETS!
Anybody know of other circular wins that actually mean nothing?
Hey, the Huskers just did that with Wisconsin as well. First time since '16.In other news, the Sooners decided to start playing football and managed to get bowl eligible by beating Bama.
OU has been bowl eligible for 25 straight seasons, so I suppose it's good to maintain that streak. I think only Georgia has it beat with 27 straight. Nebraska needs to figure out how to become a blue blood again. Tough to maintain fans when the students currently attending haven't seen a conference-championship Nebraska team in their lifetimes.Hey, the Huskers just did that with Wisconsin as well. And yet we fill the stadium for every game and seats are sold out for over 400 consecutive games... I think yesterday was #404 or 405 or something. It is a pretty bleak picture, though. We haven't had a winning coach in so long it's just become a bad dream for those of us who were around when the Huskers could actually play football.OU has been bowl eligible for 25 straight seasons, so I suppose it's good to maintain that streak. Oh I don't mean that they do not still have die hard fans. The sell-out streak is impressive even if it's been more of an on-paper thing a few times. It's just harder to generate that enthusiasm from the current generation. The people with season tix now have at least seen NU with great Big 8/Big 12 wins. The kids attending NU haven't had much to watch through the Riley/Frost tenures. I think Matt Rhule can get it turned around, but the NIL-era makes getting people to Lincoln even tougher. And yet we fill the stadium for every game and seats are sold out for over 400 consecutive games... Don't forget Callahan. Our ADs have made a string of truly horrific choices over the past couple of decades. Pelini was the last coach we had with a record better than .500. He still wasn't that great, but right now 9-3 or 10-2 (which he did consistently) looks pretty good. The kids attending NU haven't had much to watch through the Riley/Frost tenures.
Maybe he can. Frost was supposed to be the savior, but apparently was too damaged to function in Lincoln. I'm hopeful but definitely not holding my breath.I think Matt Rhule can get it turned around, but the NIL-era makes getting people to Lincoln even tougher.

You should have stayed in the Big 12 and continued beating up on Kansas, Iowa State and the rest of the Original Big 8, except OU. But at least we got to beat you in Basketball every yearAnd yet we fill the stadium for every game and seats are sold out for over 400 consecutive games...
