Is your canopy lock on the TOP of your canopy?

My canopy locks from the top and the key hole faces the sky. Is anyone else’s plane like this? How do you stop water leaking through the key holes/lock cylinder and into the cockpit? Or is mine the only one that leaks water through?

My canopy lock has a spring loaded metal cover.

I have the same issue with my CAP-10. I put it in a hangar. Problem solved.

There was a story at a flyin once when this guy came up and said "I bet you didn't know I was a Navion pilot." To which the one of the wives of the other Navion pilots said, "Of course, I did. You have hydraulic fluid on your right knee."

The Navion has two handles that are on the same shaft. The key hole in the top handle (which has a little flap anyhow) doesn't connect to the inside. The thing is mounted on a solid shaft.
