My wife said he looks like a Charlie
Mine will actually listen to "dog". Her name is actually Zia for the Zia Pueblo of New Mexico.Dog
(stolen from a John Wayne movie, admittedly a western - but the aviation relation could be whatever aircraft you consider to be a dog)
Ooh I like that angle. That gives me a couple more ideas...So...does the family have a favorite vacation spot you could tie into?
Only if I was naming a pigThe most banal answer is Duke
Starting to seem like it. He managed to escape from his kennel while we were at church this morning We went to breakfast and Teresa noticed it on the ring camera, so we rushed home to find him laying in the shade in the back yard.Does he have a Loki personality?
more pix pls
When he chews through the kennel, opens the house door. Opens both doors on the detached garage. Then goes to your neighbor/dad's house and opens the garage door then mudroom door there looking for you. Then you know you've got a friend....or a stalker.Starting to seem like it. That's impressive lolWhen he chews through the kennel, opens the house door. Opens both doors on the detached garage. Then goes to your neighbor/dad's house and opens the garage door then mudroom door there looking for you. Then you know you've got a friend....or a stalker.

One of my neighbors had a dog named that.My take on that would be pronounced Dee-Oh-Gee ...
#56:so @Jim K ?
We settled on "Tango". I did all my training in N4149T, so there's the aviation connection, but it's not totally in your face.
#56:
My wife is on the way home with a dog. Male Norwegian Elkhound. Said dog needs a name. I suggested "Eman1200", but Teresa says no. Her suggestion was "Malcom"(Reynolds). I also suggested "Archer", which the 11 year old really likes. The oldest suggested "Doc" which is my favorite so far, and the nine year old is really set on "Boeing" for some reason.
Name must be no more than two syllables and yellable. Bonus points for aviation-tangent names. Not doing "Cessna", "Beech", or "Mooney". "Piper" feels too girly.
Puppers in question:
Glad he’s willing to visit the kids in their enclosure.Starting to seem like it. He managed to escape from his kennel while we were at church this morning We went to breakfast and Teresa noticed it on the ring camera, so we rushed home to find him laying in the shade in the back yard.
We threw the straw in when we burned the ballots this morning. We settled on "Tango". I did all my training in N4149T, so there's the aviation connection, but it's not totally in your face.
He's 11mo., so hopefully he'll get a little bigger. Average is something like 50 lbs, although our last one hit 100.

Love the GSPs. Great dog, very trainable. Good with kids!Archer is a good name, it's also already in use by this guy. Glad we avoided the conflict
