The get-together isn't until the end of March. Are you planning to freeze them until then??
 
nah ill have plenty of fresh ones for that!

some of these go to jesse and tristan, the rest are for me and whoever is around this weekend.

i prefer to keep the recipe proprietary. I was actually amazed that my grandma gave it to me. this also gives jesse a reason to keep talking to me :)
 
no cookies here - but I got bored last weekend and decided to make some brats... here's a shot after the stuffer but before the smoker. Venison, elk and pork combo

Dang.. That looks like some good stuff. Last year, I had 3 doe's worth of meat to deal with, so we did some venison breakfast sausage. It's pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Came up empty-handed this year (dang screwed up work schedule!) but we still have about 1/2 a deer's worth of meat left in the freezer from last year. Guess I'll just have to hope for a good fishing year. :D

Thank You Tony! I look forward to trying them. I dont think I'll be able to compete but I'll try to make Jesse some cookies sometime, maybe he'll deture his tasebuds just enough to nag me but still talk to you ;). I can handle him, I'm woman after all. Bwahaha, LOL

Went into the store last weekend to buy bras for my mom (currently very ill and in a rehab facility). Asked my wife for advise and she rattled off the brands and such that she buys. I told that was all good to know so that I don't buy any of those for mom. She did not understand why I did not want her and my mom to be wearing the same style of underwear, go figure. But I told her I really did not want to end up in therapy and this was already a bit traumatic.

Let me 'splain.....







There was a bachelor party for my cousin's future husband and I decided to bring Bertha D. Bulldog as the entertainment.

The clerk asked if me if I needed help and I actually told her what I wanted and said it was no big deal. I just grabbed a likely pair out of the bargain bin and checked out ASAP.

When we drove over I wondered what I'd say to the cop if I got stopped. It didn't occur to me that I could dress her when we got there. :P

She was a hit.
 
oh well, next time. ill cook up a big batch for the glide a thon.
