You can't make this stuff up!

Proposed Colorado gun but back program is cancelled because...................of new gun control laws!

Gun buyback at Boulder County sheriff's compound canceled over new Colorado gun laws

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...-compound-canceled-over-new-colorado-gun-laws

I laughed so hard I cried when that news came out yesterday. $10 minimum FFL fee for every transfer made it too expensive too.

And FFLs can't do business anywhere other than their address by Federal law, so the plan to hold it at the Sheriff's Office couldn't happen either.

But remember, these are "common sense" laws! ROFL!

Wanted Felon Found Hiding Inside Trash Can Reportedly Filled With Diapers.
http://www.local12.com/news/feature...felon-found-hiding-inside-trash-can-685.shtml

Sisters husband was working across the river (Canada) for a while and applied for some kind of pass that would let him skip at least some of the customs nonsense. That required some kind of FBI background check. One morning, the trash is out front, the garbage truck passes my sisters house without picking up. A while later some guy wearing a suit in a typical government sedan pulls up, opens the trunk, and starts to load garbage into the sedan. The only thing is, at the time, my sister had 3 kids in diapers. She said she could see the look on his face from the house...:yikes:

Patrons drop $180 for bird poop facial.

That's what goes into facials at a luxury spa where the traditional Japanese treatment using imported Asian nightingale excrement mixed with rice bran goes for $180 a pop.

About 100 women and men go into the Shizuka New York skin care salon, just off Manhattan's Fifth Avenue, each month to get the treatment, which is promoted as a way to keep the face soft and smooth using an enzyme in the poop to gently exfoliate the skin.

Spa owner Shizuka Bernstein, a Tokyo native married to an American, has been offering what she calls the Geisha Facial for about five years.

"I try to bring Japanese beauty secrets to the United States," says Bernstein, who learned the treatment from her mother.

At least they don't eat the bird poop. Kopi luwak is coffee made from monkey poop and there are people who not only drink it, they think it's the best coffee made.

This policy was rescinded after something like 4 days, still makes you wonder how many man-hours of city employee time were wasted to write this policy in the first place.

Well, at least you haven't made the adult diapers list yet. Can fix that is you'd like (g). They're big on referrals.

XCLUSIVE-U.S. directs agents to cover up programme used to investigate Americans
Mon, 5 Aug 09:00:00 GMT

By John Shiffman and Kristina Cooke

WASHINGTON, Aug 5 (Reuters) - A secretive U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration unit is funneling information from intelligence intercepts, wiretaps, informants and a massive database of telephone records to authorities across the nation to help them launch criminal investigations of Americans.

Although these cases rarely involve national security issues, documents reviewed by Reuters show that law enforcement agents have been directed to conceal how such investigations truly begin – not only from defense lawyers but also sometimes from prosecutors and judges.

The undated documents show that federal agents are trained to “recreate” the investigative trail to effectively cover up where the information originated, a practice that some experts say violates a defendant’s Constitutional right to a fair trial. If defendants don’t know how an investigation began, they cannot know to ask to review potential sources of exculpatory evidence.

Then LE would have a tough time getting any background info on me. I generate 1 bag of garbage every two months that actually gets thrown out. And it's a kitchen sized bag. Not your standard 30gal garbage bag. And it doesn't get put out by the curb.

Anything that will decompose, gets tossed into a compost box in the backyard and is left to rot.

Anything that will burn, including plastics and styrofoam, gets burned in the backyard. Papers get shredded and are used to start cooking/bonfires.

Let's see, in my garbage right now, couple cans of mushrooms, glass jars rinsed out, with the labels peeled off. Empty bottle of Dawn dish soap. Oh, and I don't put my garbage out by the curb. I don't even have trash pickup at my house.

Good luck.

You have revealed enough. play on playa!

Yeah, you gonna need a warrant to find anything out. :D

I don't do it to cover my tracks, I do it because I'm cheap and don't want to spend $10/month for garbage service.

Who are the criminals, again? :(

Nate: You just don't seem to understand: sometimes you have to break the law to enforce it! What, are you still thinking the Lone Ranger is in charge of ethos. Sorry, once again --Sarc). It doesn't even seem to phase some of these folks when they admit they were deceptive and didn't just tell a white lie. And, of course, the four star general that leads NSA got caught in a public lie, but he was doing it to not discuss a SECRET program for our benefit--this is just unbelievable.

Sorry, parade rest.

They might be trying to keep out the WW II vets from their memorial because of the shutdown, but they don't seem to be trying too hard at the WW I memorial.

man, these cutbacks are HORRIBLE!!!!

They closed the ocean today lol.

I saw that. Read an article today about the barricade across the road to the bus parking at the Marine memorial. A tour bus of vets took care of it.

Seems really, really petty to 'close' open air monuments, memorials, and oceans that are normally unmanned anyway.

Yeah, bad move on the part of the administration, but he's a lame duck anyway.

So, who's the most reckless here (g)
Audy R8 v. Kawasake ZX10R.

When I rode, there were very few production cars that could stay with me accelerating; if they could, no way they could get through traffic like I could.
